About Me

Akkam, Welcome, Ahlan!

My name is Ummi, a Seattle resident mother, blessed with the privilege of shadowing elders in my community when guiding other women through pregnancy, birth and beyond. With each of my births so different I’ve been empowered in pursuing a doula program and completed my training March 2020 with Global Prenatal Services as a Community Based Doula. This training empowered me to step into my calling and increased the love I had to be of service to women. You may find me at https://www.globalperinatal.org/, to learn more about what a doula is and how to book me at your most intimate transition of life. Through my healing journey and life experiences, along with ongoing trainings I’ve gained the practical in working with women from all stages prenatally and after.  My gentle touch and approach to clients make me an empathic support whilst also advocating for them.

My wholistic approach to my clients harnesses a subtle power that leads mothers to the births they desire and equipped with knowledge and the trusting energy shared with each mother. I am to facilitate a calming environment, detailing all the needs and more.

I am a community member much loved for offering wombtherapy services in the greater Seattle areas. Founder of Qeyya Lounge, a space curated to honor the womb through the season of womanhood using natural elements of the earth. It is non invasive traditional self care practice where I also supported many women with varying ailments find comfort from menstrual imbalances, infertility, traumatic births, postpartum and menopause, including those who have experienced hysterectomy.

Coupled with the wealth of ancestral knowledge and conventional study I am deeply intuitive and attentive ensuring my clients are surrounded by peace throughout. This journey has been humbling, as it stems from my own personal experiences to manifesting to a place where I can give back to those in need, lack of resources and advocacy, encouraged me to become what I didn’t have access to when I was most vulnerable.
